For more than 25yrs BD Plast have been at the forefront of Screen
Changer manufacture. Over the years with developments of new materials
BD Plast has had to adapt its Filtration/Screen Changer machinery
to suit, and can now boast an extensive range of High Quality Screen
Changers The Manual type Screen Changers can
be with a Lever, that is adjustable in 3 different positions allowing
easy access for the machine operator and offer a filtering Mass
of Ø30mm up to Ø120mm, or with a Manually operated
Hydraulic Pump available with a filtering mass of Ø45mm up
to The Hydraulic Screen Changers are available as a Single Plate or Double Plate that allows continuous extrusion of the material without breaking the flow and can also be adapted to fit any type of Extruder. Each Hydraulic Screen Changer is supplied with its own Hydraulic Power Pack. The sealing mechanism on the BD Plast Screen Changers be it Manual or Hydraulic is automatic up to Ø160mm and use different grades of Teflon depending on Temperature & Pressure. Above the Ø160mm Filtering mass a mechanical seal is used. All BD Plasts Screen Changers are manufactured in house using the latest Machining Technology.
